Prerequisites NotesStudents who are eligible to be considered for direct admission to a program of study leading tothe Master's degree include graduates of four-year undergraduate degree programs and students who have completed the pre-Master's program from the University of Manitoba or from another university. All applicants must have attained a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last two full years (60 credit hour) of study.

DescriptionThe "Maitrise en Études canadiennes” is offered by the Collge de Saint-Boniface, an affiliated college of the University of Manitoba, in French only, and only via the Internet. Currently a total of 18 students are enrolled in the program, which was launched in 1999. Students are generally mid-career and are enrolled in the programme on a part-time basis, out of personal interest or for career enhancement. Graduates can pursue careers in the federal or provincial public service, in journalism, in the Foreign Service, or in the private sector; in addition, graduates of the programme may be admitted to doctoral programs, subject to program requirements.
