DescriptionPrepare to enter the growing hospitality industry. In our eight-month Hospitality Foundations certificate program, you'll build your skills and knowledge in the areas of food preparation, service leadership, food safety and sanitation, food theory and practice, guest services and customer relations, and dining room service. Gain a strong foundation in communications and job search skills.

You'll study at our Markham Campus in a uniform developed for Seneca students in the Hospitality and Tourism programs. By living the standard each day, you'll become practiced in formal, occupation-specific presentation and prepared for the industry.* When you graduate you’ll have a solid understanding from various hospitality courses that will help you to obtain an entry-level position or pursue further postsecondary education. Upon successful completion of the program, you'll attain several industry certifications.
