| Description | This unique program combines a registered Industrial Electrician apprenticeship with a Wind Turbine Technician Ontario College Diploma. Students who enroll in this program will be registered as Industrial Electrician apprentices while attending college and upon graduation students will have to complete the balance of the practical work experience requirements of the apprenticeship program to be eligible for certification as an Industrial Electrician.
This program will give you a comprehensive understanding of all electrical aspects as it relates to the industrial electrician and to wind turbines. In addition you will gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in all mechanical and hydraulic aspects as well as become familiar with fiberglass repair techniques. You will receive safety training for working at heights and in confined spaces.
In order to complete this program, you must have no fear of heights and you must be physically fit. | | |
