Prerequisites Notes | Business majors may take advantage of Redeemer’s excellent Co-operative Education Program with two eight-month work terms. Students may apply for Co-op in the fall term of Year 2 (GPA of 7.00 required). Also, Business is the only major that does not require a second area of concentration. There is a minimum grade requirement for participation in the Co-op program, which is a B- (approximately 70%) average in your Business courses. Co-op students are required to maintain a 70% average in all of their courses at Redeemer as well. | | |

The challenge for a marketer is to understand and satisfy the needs of your customers better than your competitors, develop and execute a clear and compelling marketing strategy, all in a God-honouring way. This is a unique challenge for marketers in a culture where the workforce can be primarily profit-oriented, using methods that peddle self-indulgence. Your studies will push you to think deeply about the ethics behind these relationships and will include assignments in market research, brand management, pricing, communications (advertising, sales promotion and public relations), e-marketing and retail channel management. | | |
