DescriptionThe four-year Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology is research oriented and intended to prepare students for graduate school. There are five streams available and students in their specified streams are required to complete and defend an independent research project. Majors include General Biology, Biology with an Emphasis in Cell and Molecular Biology, Biology with an Emphasis in Integrative Biology, General Environmental Science, and Environmental Science with an Emphasis in Environmental Assessment and Remediation. We also offer three options for students to complete a minor.

Many of Concordia’s graduates move on to graduate programs in the fields of Medical Microbiology, Biology, Toxicology, Environmental Sciences and Forensics.
