Prerequisites NotesSenior secondary graduation or mature student status. A minimum 65% (C+) in both Mathematics 11 and Physics 11 and a passing grade in the ABLE form E exam. A recent medical examination which indicates the following: physically and mentally fit, good vision, no serious allergies to petroleum products, is able to maintain balance while climbing ladders and work stands, is capable of standing on a concrete floor for long periods of time.

DescriptionThis 72-week (approximately 17 months) co-operative program is designed to take a student with little or no previous experience in the aircraft maintenance trade and supply him/her with the necessary skills to seek employment in that industry as an apprentice maintenance engineer. The curriculum follows Transport Canada's guidelines and upon successful completion of the program, Transport Canada will grant graduates eighteen months of experience credits toward the 48-month experience requirement for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license. Apprenticeship technical training credit for level one through four will be granted upon successful completion of this program.
