| Description | This program prepares students to enter the aviation industry occupation of aircraft maintenance technician and to prepare to qualify for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Category S license.
Category S structures technicians are responsible for the assessment, planning and implementation of aircraft structural fabrication and repairs. Structures technicians are often an integral part of repair crews including maintenance technicians, avionics technicians and professional engineers. They are expected to precisely follow aircraft fabrication and repair schemes for aluminum, titanium and stainless steel structures, as well as plastics and composites. | | |
