Description

The Industrial Electrician requires about four to five years or 9,000 hours including 840 hours of post-secondary in-school training. Prior education and experience may shorten the time to complete all competencies.

One must pass an exam to receive a Certificate of Qualification with journey-person status, which includes an Inter-Provincial Trade Certification (Red Seal). Prior education and experience may shorten the time to complete all competencies.
