Description | The Instrument Program consists of three courses. Aviation 090 Instrument Flight Rules Theory, is classroom instruction covering IFR rules and procedures, VOR/DME, ADF/RMI,GPS holding patterns, enroute procedures, airport procedures, navigation and meteorology. The student will be able to write the Transport Canada written exam upon completion, provided the student has the required hours of flying time. Aviation 091 Instrument Simulator Training, provides the opportunity to learn and practice the flying and radio navigation skills an instrument pilot needs as well as preparing the student to deal with emergency situations. Aviation 092 Instrument Flight Training Single Engine or Aviation 093 Multi-Engine. One of the courses will allow the student to practice his newly learned skills in the aircraft and conduct several flights under Instrument Flight Rules, some of these in cloud. Completing this course will prepare the student for the Transport Canada Flight Test.. | | |
