| Description | Civil engineering involves the planning, designing, construction, and maintenance of structures and public works, and altering geography to suit human needs. Civil engineering technologists work on various aspects of built structures, highways, marine structures, harbour clean-up projects, and more. This program will give you an overview of the field in the context of environmental sustainability, so that you can develop projects that are feasible, practical, and ecologically sensitive.
