Description | Kinesiology is the study of human movement as it relates to exercise science and athletic performance. The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology program is a science-focused degree that specializes in the promotion of health, the prevention and management of chronic disease, and the enhancement of human performance. We also offer a Bachelor of Kinesiology (BKin) degree, which takes a broader and more interdisciplinary approach.
The Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation gives you access to all the state-of-the-art learning, research, and athletic facilities at the University of Alberta, while offering small class sizes and specialized, interactive programs. With every degree program, you’ll also have the opportunity to gain work experience by completing a practicum in your final year. | | |
