Prerequisites NotesMinimum of a post-secondary degree with a specialty in Psychology or related discipline BEHA 5455 Introduction to Applied Behaviour Analysis I & II (This course must be completed in the spring term before attending. Fees apply.)* *Note: All students must successfully complete BEHA 5455 via online study in the Spring semester (May to July) before attending. Applicants who accept their offers are sent information about registering for the course along with specific details regarding fees, content and textbooks. Final acceptance into the program is conditional upon passing BEHA 5455. Tuition fees for this course are separate from the tuition fees shown on this page.

Students are required to finance all costs associated with out of town field placements (ie: transportation and accommodation).

The final placement (INTN 13) completed in May/June falls outside of the tuition fees outlined above which only cover classes that are offered in the September to April semesters. Single course fees for this course therefore will apply.

DescriptionIf you want to work in the growing and highly specialized field of applied behaviour analysis, as well as learn related therapeutic treatments, the Behavioural Science Technology Program is where you want to be. For over four decades, the Behavioural Science Technology program has trained students to work front-line with a wide range of client popula­tions in a variety of areas within the human services field. Students are taught how to develop and implement behavioural interventions to teach skills to clients and/or reduce challenging behaviours.
