Prerequisites Notes- Applicants must have completed a two-year Business Administration or Accounting diploma or equivalent at an accredited post-secondary institution, with a minimum 2.3 grade-point average (65% or C+). This diploma must include a minimum of 20 courses, or 60 credits, and contain the following coursework: Intermediate Accounting, Business Communications, Financial Management, Management Accounting, Systems and Marketing. - All applicants must demonstrate English Language Proficiency prior to admission, including students educated in Canada.

DescriptionThrough the Bachelor of Applied Business Administration program, you will learn advanced accounting and management skills required for success in the field of accounting. Once you graduate, you may also pursue professional accounting credentials through the Chartered Professional Accountant Professional Education Program (CPA PEP). Please contact the Alberta Accountants Unification Agency to determine your specific requirements. This program includes ten academic courses and two semesters of directed field studies. It involves advanced studies in accounting theory, auditing, taxation, and e-business with options to further pursue more in-depth coursework.

Graduates from this program can expect to find careers in accounting, financial and information management in business, industry, government and public practice accounting.
