| Prerequisites Notes | A four-year undergraduate degree with a 2.50 GPA or its equivalent is required.
Six (6) hours of Introduction to the Bible, and three (3) hours of Introduction to Theology. Students without these (or similar courses, with permission), must take BIE 500-Introduction to the Bible and THS 540-Introduction to Theology. Although these are prerequisite courses, they may (with permission) be taken concurrently with certain other Bible and Theology courses. (Note that these courses are not counted in the 49-hour MLE program requirement.)

| Description | This program is designed for anyone involved in, or preparing for, cross-cultural ministry. It is especially beneficial for those who expect to study another language and culture and produce Christian literature in that language. Exegetical skills will be developed through the study of biblical languages and intensive interaction with the biblical text. Graduates will be prepared for effective cross-cultural communications and ministry with a focus on Bible translation or literacy.
