| Prerequisites Notes | Students must provide a photocopy of the certificate received for an EMT course which they have successfully completed within the preceding three years. This must state graduation date and the location of the school attended. Registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP) as an EMT within the preceding three years is also acceptable.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
If you are an EMT but do not have a certificate or registration within the preceding three years, you can take an EMT Refresher at ESA for personal reasons (such as to improve your skills or gain additional practice). You will not receive an EMT Refresher Certificate upon completion of the course at ESA unless you comply with one of the above prerequisites. | | |
