DescriptionThis one-day course covers the laws, regulations, and correct procedures for checking and performing air brake adjustments. Participants will learn how to properly adjust air brakes on vehicles.

Classroom instruction is comprised of a theoretical component and a practical component. This is followed by a practical and written evaluation. Course content includes: safety procedures, importance of brake adjustment, components of the foundation brake, checking brake adjustment, how to adjust brakes, automatic slack adjusters, disc brakes, and safety requirements.
