DescriptionThe Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology offers Major, Liberal and Honours Programs. Courses offered focus on cell biology, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and gross anatomy. The Honours Program is designed as the first phase in the training of career cell and molecular biologists. The Major and Liberal programs offer decreasing levels of specialization in Anatomy and Cell Biology in exchange for the opportunity to form a broader base in other biological sciences. A BSc in Anatomy and Cell Biology provides an excellent preparation for technical and administrative positions in laboratories of universities, research institutions, hospitals, pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries, as well as for graduate studies in Anatomy and Cell Biology.
