DescriptionThis course has been designed by Hamilton School of Careers to introduce the student to the practices and procedures of travel counseling. In-class instruction will familiarize the student with the everyday duties of a travel counselor. On the job training will also be included in the program, as well as hands on training with the Sabre and Apollo Computer to give the student a first hand account of travel counseling as a career.

Students may elect to write the certification examination offered twice yearly by the CITC (Canadian Institute of Travel Counselors). After successfully passing this examination plus securing three verifiable years of travel counseling work experience, the person will be able to apply for, and if approved, use the CTC (Certified Travel Counselor) credential after his or her name.
