DescriptionComputing Science involves computational processes and information systems. You’ll learn concepts such as algorithm, language, information, complexity, and system design, and how to apply these concepts to areas like communications, medicine, security, science, business, and entertainment. In this program, you’ll explore creative ways to solve problems as you discover how computers and computer systems work. You’ll also develop other marketable skills such as analytical reasoning, advanced numeracy, computer languages like C++ and Java, software design and development, project management, and communications.

Our nationally-accredited degree program offers students the choice of pursuing a major or honours degree on its own or as a double major or honours degree with mathematics, business administration or another field of science.
