DescriptionStudents gain the skills needed to produce and repair jewellery and flatware, working in a production, design or retailing environment. Students are introduced to soldering, chain making, fabrication, decorative metal techniques and finishes, wax carving and casting, stone setting and repair techniques. Students are also introduced to jewellery drawing, CAD, gemology and accounting and business practices suitable for small businesses.
