DescriptionThe Pre-Technology is a one-year certificate program that is designed to prepare students for future studies in an aviation, technician, technology or trades program. This program provides academic preparation in mathematics, science and literacy and introduces the various areas of aviation, technology and trades through practical labs and shops. Students, if they choose, will have the opportunity to explore various career options.

The Pre-Technology program is now offering two streams. The Trades Stream is designed to prepare students for a trades or pre-apprenticeship program. The Technology/Aviation Stream is designed to prepare students for a technician, technology or aviation program. The streams offer specific math, science, technology or trades studies courses that are linked closely to the student's future program goal. Please see Program Courses for more information.
