Prerequisites NotesGraduation from a recognized college with a B.A. or B.Sc. degree is required to qualify for admission to a M.Div. or M.T.S. degree or a Certificate of Theological Studies. Students whose degree has included biblical studies must have at least 30 credit hours in the humanities and/or science. Those deficient in such credits can make them up with courses from the Seminary and/or from another recognized institution such as the University of Toronto or University of Waterloo, while studying for the Graduate Degree.

DescriptionThe Master of Divinity is specifically designed for students who have an undergraduate degree and who are now seeking to commence or continue further in the calling of a pastor or church planter. It is a full-orbed theological degree that provides an excellent grounding in the biblical languages and the classical subjects of theology, while also helping the student develop the necessary skills in the key areas of pastoral ministry and spiritual formation.

Students must complete 90 semester hours of academic credit and 22 semester hours of field work credit. Some required courses are Hebrew, Greek, Old Testament biblical theology and history, New Testament biblical theology, Baptist history, expository preaching, biblical counselling, and pastoral theology.
