| Description | 40 hours instrument time are taught as part of this course (maximum 20 hours simulator); However, any previous instrument time may be credited towards the above. A knowledge-based theory portion will have to be completed and students are expected to pass this examination with at least 70% passing grade.
The practical portion of the course involves a dual cross-country flight under actual or simulated instrument conditions, of not less than 100 nautical miles. | | |
