DescriptionThe Masters in Archaeology provides graduate students with the advanced theoretical and methodological tools they need for independent research and future employment in cultural resource management and other heritage-related industries. Thanks to the varied research interests of our faculty, graduate students can be supervised in thesis research in Bioarchaeology, Historical Archaeology, Geoarchaeology, Zooarchaeology and Computer Applications amongst others. Our geographic emphasis is on the Plains and Boreal forest region, giving a strong sense of place to student study and making our program distinctive amongst western Canadian universities archaeology programs.
