Prerequisites NotesStudents must be in the final year of, or have successfully completed, an undergraduate degree program leading to a four-year undergraduate degree at a recognized university as of the application deadline in order to be considered for entry into the dental program . A minimum average of 80 per cent or higher in each of two individual academic years on record as of the application deadline is considered competitive. Prerequisite course requirements for all applicants include approved equivalents in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Human/Mammalian Physiology. Summer courses may be taken for prerequisites; however the marks obtained will not be included in academic average. Repeat years (an academic year with course content similar to an academic year previously completed) may be used in the selection process, using averaged grades for the similar years.
