DescriptionWelders are good problem solvers. Very often they have to come up with a solution on the spot for the problem they are trying to fix. Problem solving plays a big part in this two-year diploma course. You’ll learn to repair metal parts and structures as well as create solutions using various welding and cutting equipment and techniques.

This program is a first step towards Journeyperson Certification in the welder trade. Graduates of this program are eligible for transfer credit upon registration in the Provincial Apprenticeship Program.
