DescriptionGood plumbers are always in demand. Every home and building relies on a plumber to pipe fresh water in—and pipe waste water out. This is a good career for a hardworking person who likes to solve problems. You’ll receive training in the installation and repair of water distribution and waste disposal systems as well as hot water heating systems. All tasks are taught according to plumbing code and trade.

This program is a first step on the path towards Journeyperson Certification in the Plumber trade. Certification is compulsory through the Department of Labour and Workforce Development. Graduates of this program will be eligible for transfer credit upon registration in the Provincial Apprenticeship Program.
