DescriptionI feel comfortable being in close contact with other people. I think dental science and oral health would be a stimulating field of study. I believe that good oral health boosts confidence and quality of life, and I would like to promote it in the lives of others.

If these things ring true for you, you may wish to consider a career in dental assisting. As part of the oral health team, you would provide chairside assistance to dentists and dental specialists, carry out direct patient care and instruct patients in the principles and practices of good oral health in a way that puts them at ease. Dental assistants should be mobile and have manual dexterity.
