Description | Where will a mother find helpful resources for raising a child with a developmental disability? How will a new Canadian avoid working an unrelated job and find work in her engineering field instead? Want to find answers and make a difference? Learn about social issues in local, national, and global contexts, and get the skills needed to enact change.
This multi-faceted program combines courses in social work, sociology, psychology, and unique social development studies courses that bring together several areas of study. Classroom learning and connecting with local agencies will help you tailor your marketable skills and prepare you for a career in professions such as social work, counselling, education, public service, human resources, or law. Upon completing the program, you can apply directly to the one-year Bachelor of Social Work program. | | |
