Prerequisites Notes | Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in the last 60 hours of their bachelor's program. Alternatively, applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in an applicable master's program. Students should complete courses in Introductory Biology (3 credits), and Introductory Chemistry with Lab (4 credits) with minimum grades of “B” or above. In some circumstances, students may be admitted to the program with a requirement to complete the science pre-requisites as additional coursework.

Personal statement (one page limit).
Two professional letters of recommendation.

Description | This food safety master’s program online concentration covers food protection concerns and regulations throughout the food supply chain from distribution to the retail market. Courses examine food safety regulations from local, state and federal agencies, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
