Description | Global cybersecurity is a field that addresses digital threats to national security, international aid organizations and other groups around the world. In this program, you’ll learn about challenges posed by a range of threat actors facing the global cybersecurity field and learn about ways to address those challenges. Thought leaders and practitioners from the cybersecurity field will teach you about current trends using specific cases and policy exercises.
Global cybersecurity is important because the internet has made physical distance nearly irrelevant. International cybersecurity acknowledges that threats in the cyberspace domain cross borders effortlessly. In fact, cyber operations very likely form an important component of foreign actor’s campaigns to achieve their desired objectives, to include interfering with domestic policies and election integrity. | | |
