Prerequisites NotesApplicants are eligible to apply to this program if they’ve earned a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in a related field such as biology, chemistry, physics, toxicology, or in a social science field such as sociology, psychology, criminal justice or criminology from a regionally accredited institution. The admissions committee will consider a GPA as low as 2.75, if there is directly applicable professional experience and strong performance in related science courses (biology, chemistry, toxicology, etc) on the transcript.

    DescriptionThe forensic science master’s program allows professionals working in forensic science, law enforcement, medical and legal professions to elevate their careers in management and research. Through this program, you’ll build the talents needed to effectively work with regulatory bodies that provide the framework for oversight in forensic laboratories, consistent with the guiding principles of the National Professional Science Master’s Association (NPSMA).

    This online master’s in forensic science degree offers you the opportunity to advance your skills in forensic science and related fields with courses in toxicology, botany, entomology, forensic science and forensic DNA. Courses in this online program provide you with the opportunity to simultaneously explore forensic science ethics, as well as your leadership abilities in this field. You’ll also have the opportunity to utilize your current skills and experience in a culminating applied project at the end of the program.
