  • Evidence of current employment in an organization in this field, or at least two years prior professional experience in this or a related field or a bachelor's degree in a related area.

    DescriptionCybersecurity policy and management as a concentration in the Master of Arts in emergency management and homeland security degree program is aimed at mitigating and responding to digital threats.
    This cybersecurity focus area is one of five concentrations offered in the Master of Arts in emergency management and homeland security degree. The concentrations give you the opportunity to develop subject area expertise in a specific area of emergency management and homeland security related to your career goals.

    In the cybersecurity policy and management concentration, you’ll learn how to improve preparedness, response and recovery for a variety of hazards, but with a special focus on cyber threats in particular. You’ll gain expertise in cyber risk and threat management and learn how challenges in this area relate to critical infrastructure protection.
