Description | The Master of Science in biomedical diagnostics is a unique professional degree that offers specialized training and coursework on key topics in the science and technology of diagnostics as well as current issues in health economics, policy and regulatory matters and more. Students in our biomedical diagnostics program explore and develop a deep understanding of the science, technology and business of how modern medicine diagnoses disease today and in the future. Master’s students studying biomedical diagnostics gain insights into a large and growing industry that is at the center of health care innovation and personalized medicine. The biomedical diagnostics program has been designed by expert faculty with significant real-world experience in the science, business, legal, and technical facets of diagnostics.
This 31-credit-hour master’s in biomedical diagnostics program is designed to be completed in one calendar year and is primarily offered in condensed 7.5-week sessions. To graduate, you’ll develop an applied project on a topic relevant to the diagnostics field alongside other ASU students, professors or industry partners.
