You should demonstrate an interest and desire to work with adults with complex mental health difficulties. You must also show an interest in developing education in practice, therapy and skills fundamental to mental health care. You may also be considered for the course if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing. Description | Mental health practitioners are in demand nationwide. This course gives you the skills to practice up to Associate Practitioner level in NHS Mental Health Services. We are one of the largest psychology units in the UK. You’ll study in an intellectually-stimulating, supportive environment for postgraduate research and study. You’ll learn a range of therapeutic practices, assessment, ethics, and partnership and recovery working. You’ll also become familiar with being part of a multidisciplinary team within NHS Mental Health Services. Clinical placements are a key part of this course, where you’ll engage with adults experiencing complex mental health difficulties. | | |
