Description | This flexible course gives you the opportunity to study the fundamentals of psychology alongside complementary topics from law. You'll gain research-based insight into areas that impact our legal system, such as decision-making, child development, and mental health. With growing demand for graduates with knowledge of both subjects, you'll be well placed for a career within legal psychology, policy making or criminal justice.
You'll develop an understanding of the basic principles and methods of psychology as a scientific discipline. You'll combine these with core modules from the University's law school to gain an understanding of how these subjects interact in real-world contexts. For example, how do family law and the concept of attachment impact the role of caregiver in a child's development? | | |
