DescriptionAn important aspect of educating the public is to prepare people to live in, work in and contribute to environmentally sustainable communities. This College Certificate program focuses on developing the knowledge, values and skills to integrate local and global sustainability into existing programs or curriculum. Students develop contacts with environmentally conscientious people through networking. They gain authentic experience designing, delivering and evaluating original activities for diverse audiences in companies, community groups or schools.

This program may be of interest to those already engaged in the teaching profession (early childhood, elementary, secondary and postsecondary) who wish to augment their knowledge of sustainability education and how it might be embedded within and across curricula.

This program is offered part-time.
