Explore careers in media, design and the arts with a focus on Indigenous culture and history in this one-year program. Indigenous storytelling is a significant cultural practice that enables the sharing of histories, languages, ceremonies and world views between generations. The focus of this program is to encourage and enable the voice of Indigenous peoples in the media. Learn various forms of Indigenous storytelling and performance art with an introduction to media technologies including photography, video/film production, sound, and design. This specialized program will prepare you for pathways into additional media arts programs at Canadore.
