DescriptionManagement of the arts is one of the fastest-growing fields today. It is also among the most dynamic and challenging fields. The need for skilled and knowledgeable arts managers has never been greater. The Sprott MBA concentration in Arts Management develops the management skills and knowledge needed to help managers and organizations deal effectively with the complexities of the arts and culture sector.

Managers in arts organizations large and small are faced with decisions that parallel those of their colleagues in the for-profit sector and government, but these are overlaid with specific considerations concerning aesthetic and cultural judgements that bring into play a number of additional factors. Arts managers face a constant evolution in arts consumption and funding, marketing of the arts and ethical issues
