DescriptionThe Faculty of Education, in collaboration with the Indigenous Education program at the First Nations University of Canada, offers a graduate program that leads to a Master of Indigenous Education that aims to: prepare students as leaders in pedagogical practice in Indigenous Education; provide students with the required skills, knowledge, and competencies needed to become effective Indigenous educators; prepare students to conduct research with Indigenous peoples; provide students with opportunities to learn, to understand, and to experience different forms and systems of Indigenous knowledge; and equip students with the competencies and abilities to integrate Indigenous knowledge into school curricula.
