Prerequisites NotesDegree program applicants must have completed an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (O.S.S.D.) with a minimum average of 65% including six ‘university preparatory’ Grade 12 courses. Four of these must be “U” level courses and the other two must be either “U” or “M”. Students must have a minimum average of 60% in each eligible grade 12 course. Ontario Academic Courses (OAC’s) or Grade 13 courses are considered equivalent to Grade 12 U-level courses under the former Ontario Secondary School curriculum.

The Child and Family Ministry Program is designed to produce graduates capable of stepping into a variety of church and agency settings in which they develop and lead educational programs, teach and guide individual children, and provide assessment, basic counselling, and referral services for children and their families. Graduates may enter into pastoral positions in Child or Family Ministries, into a variety of outreach ministries and camp settings.
