Description | Graphic design is the process of visual communication using typography, photography and illustration in combination with colour, form, shape and texture. Vancouver Career College’s Graphic Design Technology program offers a range of in-demand skills for students wishing to purse a career in the graphics and digital media industries. As a graduate of this program, you will learn skills in digital image creation, page layout techniques, typography, and use of symbols, images, texts, shape forms and colours to form visual representations of ideas and messages. Using a variety of industry-standard software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Premiere Pro, you will be able to prepare sketches, layout and other graphic elements, develop storyboards, create printed materials, and determine the best-suited visual mediums to convey desired communications for prospective employers and clients. | | |
