DescriptionThis new flexible degree in Education and Social Policy gives you the opportunity to learn more about the challenges facing society by combining a range of relevant social and educational subjects, enabling you to consider these in various international and comparative contexts.

Combining these areas provides opportunities for those who wish to work in professions associated with education, but who don't wish necessarily to become teachers. It is designed for students who are looking for choice and flexibility in their studies, or who don’t want to commit to one career path at the start of their studies. Please note that this course doesn't allow you to qualify as a teacher, but it will equip you to explore postgraduate routes into teaching careers (via the PGCE).
