Requirements for Canadian Students

The University of Ottawa has specific admission requirements for each region in the country (Ontario, Québec CÉGEP, Québec Secondary V, and the Atlantic and Western provinces). There are specific admission requirements if you come from another university or a college of applied arts and technology. Detailed admission requirements can be viewed on the University of Ottawa Web site.

Requirements for International Students

The general requirement for admission to any of the University's undergraduate programs (except professional programs, which require previous university studies) is a minimum of 12 years of schooling (that is, the combined total of primary and secondary years of study) including all subject requirements for admission. Procedure for Canadian Students

For applicants currently attending an Ontario high school full-time. The paper version of the application form is available only at Ontario high schools. You can apply online at www.ouac.on.ca.

Procedure for International Students

For international applicants who wish to apply to an undergraduate program for full-time studies and who have never taken courses at the University of Ottawa. You can apply online at www.ouac.on.ca.
