High school applicants must present five appropriate Grade 12 subjects with a minimum overall average of 60% for Arts and Science programs and a 65% average for the Management program. Concordia also admits students who are transferring from other post-secondary institutions, returning to school after several years away, or entering the Open Studies program. Applicants with bachelor degrees who are interested in Concordia’s after-degree programs in Education, Environmental Health, or Career Development, or in the Master of Information Systems Security Management program, should consult the admission requirements specific to each of these programs. Complete admission requirements for all of Concordia’s programs are available online.
Applicants are invited to apply online. An application for admission is complete when the Admissions and Financial Aid Office has received all of the following: the application form, completed in full; official transcripts of all secondary and post-secondary studies (though applicants to Concordia’s after-degree programs are not required to present secondary transcripts); original supporting documents required for admission to specialized programs (e.g., Confidential Assessment Forms for the Education program, etc.); demonstrated fulfillment of the English Language Requirement; and any other documentation that may be requested by the Admissions and Financial Aid Office.
Before applying to Concordia, please look over our program selection and check the admission deadlines for international student applications. Apply early as official transcript requests and study permit applications take time to process. To apply online, go to applyalberta.ca. Your application will not be sent to Concordia until the international student application fee of $100.00 CDN is paid.
