First-time Freshmen are those students who have not attended a post-secondary College or University. These students are required to have earned a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher (US Grade Scale) as well as meet the college's English Proficiency Requirements to be admitted to SUNY Canton.

To begin your application to SUNY, you can either apply directly through their online SUNY application or through Common App. You will then submit your application documents (high school transcripts and a personal statement) as well as your financial documents.
