Requirements for Canadian Students

Applicants applying to the Homeopathic Medicine & Health Sciences Program must have their Ontario Secondary School Diploma with the equivalent of OACs in Biology and Chemistry, and at least 2 or 3 years of post secondary education from a college or university. A Bachelor's degree is strongly recommended. You can apply online today. Those students who do not have the above requirements may apply under the "Special Student" status (contact the office for details). Applicants must have a warm and compassionate nature and must possess the need to be a healer in a positive and nurturing manner and to be continuously, personally evolving. Once the Director of Admissions has received all of the required application information, the applying student will be contacted for an interview with the Dean and the Director of Admissions. The personal interview will ascertain whether the program is suited to the interests of each applicant. If the interview is satisfactory the applicant will be offered a seat in the program. The interview is an integral part of the admission process as it will ascertain the character of the applicant, determine their motivation for applying to the program, assess their communication and interpersonal skills as well as allow them to ask any final questions they might have about the College. At OCHM, we encourage an open dialogue between administration and students as we feel it is the only way for each party to grow and develop into an integral part of the Homeopathic community.
