Candidates should be grade twelve graduates with good reading and writing skills as well as basic mathematics. They must have a mechanical aptitude sufficient to understand basic physics as it applies to hydraulics. They should also be familiar with basic hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical trade background
( i.e. Industrial Mechanics, Heavy Equipment Mechanics, Machinist, Millwright etc.) although this is not a pre-requisite.
