CareersNOW! is talking with students about the career opportunities in Ontario’s food and beverage processing sector. The program shares free online resources about the the industry, career paths, and how to connect with hiring businesses for future employment.

The Future of Food Scholarship

The CareersNOW! Future of Food Scholarship is a $1,000 CAD award open to students from, or studying in, Ontario, with an interest in the skilled trades, food and beverage processing, applied science, technology, business, and more. The Future of Food Scholarship invites students to explore career paths in Ontario's food and beverage processing sector.

How to Apply for the Future of Food Scholarship

The application form is accessible online at apply.scholarshipscanada.com between January 1 and January 31, 2026. Applicants are asked to listen to a podcast episode and reflect on the topics within, before creating a short essay or short video sharing what they've learned. To be eligible, you'll need to create your free CareersNOW! account. Why not get started on it right now? Creating your CareersNOW! account takes 5 or 10 minutes, and it's required to be eligible for the Future of Food Scholarship.
