Notes

Applications to the Wolf Scholars Program are open from September 8, 2025 through November 10, 2025. Students selected as Wolf Scholars will receive an offer contingent on their admission to the University of Toronto, which is determined separately and solely by the University in early 2026. To be eligible, prospective Wolf Scholars must also apply separately to the University of Toronto's Faculty of Arts & Science, St. George Campus. Eligibility: You must currently be in your final year of secondary school or in your first year of Cégep and have not yet attended a post-secondary institution. If you've graduated from secondary school within the last three years, you're still eligible, as long as you meet the additional requirements below.
  • You are a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident. Academic Admission Requirements:
    • You must have a minimum cumulative 90% academic average in your last completed year of high school.
    • If you currently attend school outside of Canada, your transcripts will be reviewed using an equivalency framework based on a 90% average.
  • Upon entry to first year university (September 2026), you must be between 17 and 22 years old; born between September 1 2004 and September 1, 2009.
  • You must apply to the Faculty of Arts & Science at the St. George campus through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) by the early admission deadline of November 7.
Other details: The Wolf Scholars Program is a bold new undergraduate scholarship at the University of Toronto, offering Canada's most immersive scholarship for future leaders, builders and innovators. Each year, up to 16 Wolf Scholars will benefit from:
  • Full tuition plus a generous living stipend
  • Funded Canadian and international travel
  • Access to top internships at Canada's leading organizations across consulting, technology, AI, finance, politics, non-profit, and more
  • Rigorous seminars on history, leadership, ethics, mentorship and a cohort experience
The scholarship is open to students entering U of T's Faculty of Arts & Science, across 400+ programs from philosophy to computer science. Wolf Scholars is a liberal arts launchpad unique in Canada — the program will ensure that Scholars can study and learn broadly, with the confidence they'll gain the tools to become thoughtful problem solvers and leaders across the private and public sectors.
